I’ve built Training for Warriors Greensboro to be a place where you’ll gain strength, confidence and a community — all geared toward helping you triumph over the various challenges in your day to day. This is not just training to lose weight, sculpt and tone; this is training for the battlefield of life. I want to transform lives — your life — and this is my way of going about it.

At Training for Warriors Greensboro, we help our students gain strength, self-awareness and confidence to face the battlefield of life — and triumph. Based on the approach that successfully increased the performance and self-esteem of the world’s top athletes, TFW believes that everyone, not just high-level athletes, should be able to move better, feel better and live longer, pain-free lives — regardless of your age or fitness level. Did you know that “dojo” literally means the way to enlightenment? TFW Greensboro is a place you go to learn more about the warrior inside you. My students aren’t gym junkies — they’re average people of absolutely every age and fitness level. We’re about cooperation, not competition. In the dojo, you’ll see lots of high-fives. After all, we’re in this together. Camaraderie makes the group training FUN. At TFW, positive energy is ever flowing. Each member receives inspiring words as they train, and we celebrate all victories — big and small! When you “Join the resistance,” you’ll find all the motivation and fitness education you need to resist the negatives coming at us all from many different fronts. That’s what Training for Warriors is about: Building a warrior within to triumph over the battles you’re already fighting.

I am committed to helping you transform your life and become the best version of yourself. Our creed — not just in the dojo, but in life — is to strive to get 1% BETTER each day. You might not believe it, but I never played sports growing up. I wasn’t an athlete — and in fact, the first time I worked out was in high school when I began walking regularly. Then, inspired by the muscle tone suddenly appearing on my small frame and a newfound sense of strength, I joined a gym and never stopped!
After high school and college, I entered the corporate world, but a deeper calling pulled at me: I wanted to transform lives — maybe even save lives — through a supportive, motivating and superbly structured fitness experience. I took the leap, earning my first fitness certification in 1998. Many more would follow as I worked on my craft, learning from working at various gyms and with many wonderful mentors. But I still wasn’t totally fulfilled. I knew there was yet another path for me. It was April 2006 when I started Dailey Fitness. Years later, I met Martin Rooney, the founder of Training for Warriors, at a continuing education conference and I realized that our core values and our mission as fitness professionals were completely aligned. So, in 2013, I brought the TFW program into our facility. TFW Greensboro is now changing more lives than ever!
Today, my certifications through the nationally accredited American Fitness Professionals & Associates include Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified Sports Nutrition Consultant (CSNC), and Pre & Post Natal Fitness Consultant. In 2009, I also became certified through Egoscue University for Posture Alignment Specialist (PAS).
What matters just as much as the expertise I bring to my students is my commitment to making sure that what you learn here, you will carry with you forever. Health and Fitness is a lifestyle, not a quick fix. There is something special and strong inside you, and you know it because you’re already a warrior. All you need is the path to excellent fitness and a community that will help you bring out the warrior within. As your coach, I’ll give you a program and a team that will change your life. Together, we’ll all strive to get 1% better each day.
