Are you a SUGAR ADDICT?!?! Researcher studies show that cocaine-addicted mice actually preferred sugar-water as a reward over cocaine. This intense euphoria from sugar consumption can be a powerful driving factor in us reaching for it often and obsessively. Sugar encourages the body to release opioids and dopamine. It has an actual effect on your body chemistry, and your body likes that. So it wants more. And more. And when the chemical lending the effects is taken away,  it goes into withdrawal!  It’s not uncommon to experience headaches, fatigue, mood swings, and other detox affect as you come off sugar. But behold that it will be a short term consequence for LONG term health benefits!!! DITCH THE SUGAR!!!


The Dailey NUTRITION Tip: By popular request…here is just one out of hundreds of possibilities for a Smoothie Recipe with fruits AND veggies!

Ingredients ***Please choose all organic ingredients if possible***

3 tablespoons high quality protein powder (Hemp, whey, or even rice protein are best!)

2 inch piece of ginger (peeled if not organic)

2 cups of leafy greens (kale, collards, romaine, spinach, chard, etc.)

1 cup of celery

1 cup of mixed frozen berries of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, etc)

½ cup filtered water


  1. 1.     Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 min or until smooth
  1. Serve immediately or store in airtight container for up to 1 day
