The Dailey NUTRITION Tip: GET HEALTHY FATS!!! Replacing fried chicken (or fried ANYTHING for that matter) with fresh fish & replacing butter with olive oil are 2 easy ways to consume HEALTHY fats. Look closer at the foods you put into your body….where can you clean up your act this week!?

Procrastination is your enemy. Good intentions don’t produce results…but ACTION does! Where are you falling short with your goals? NOW is the time to make the time, put the effort forward, and stay committed to them!

 

The Dailey RECIPE Swap:  (see attached) Broccoli Cheddar Quinoa Bites are a great thing to make for a quick healthy snack! Note that ingredients should be organic when possible, and the cheese can certainly be modified to suit your preference. Got a great healthy recipe to share? CPR Certification anyone??? TWO Saturdays in Feb (2/7/15 & 2/21/15) we will be hosting Cardio Savers for CPR & First Aid certifications. If you or anyone you know might be in need of getting certified, or just wants to learn …go to https://triadcpr.com & sign up! The cost for CPR is $40, and only $20 more will cover the First Aid. Valuable skills to have no matter who you are, or what you do for a living! Kids need it too…and they are welcome to attend this course!

It’s a new month of opportunity & challenge. As you dive into the month remember that to be the BEST at anything—you have to have a winning mindset! A mindset that fuels hard work & discipline, and that breeds passion & energy. Attacking your goals with the right mindset will lead you to victory at whatever it is you are trying to accomplish. Remember, when you hit those big challenges & hurdles along the way…you can’t quit! Keep in mind the FINISH that is so important to you!

SAVE THE DATE! We have a Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) workshop/seminar scheduled for Sat. Feb 28 @ 10:15am! Dropping some “F-Bombs”!!!

The folks in group training heard some serious motivation around this quote yesterday. These “F-bombs” are powerful. If you haven’t experienced Fear, Frustration, & Failure on a regular basis…you simply aren’t challenging yourself enough! Time to take more risks! As I told my students yesterday…using Faith (a solid & positive belief system that you CAN do something), FOCUS (on what you want to accomplish-WHY it is important), Forward-Thinking (making a plan to get there), & FOLLOW-THROUGH (DOING the work to make it happen)…success will be yours!

 

One last reminder that we have an AWESOME & FREE running clinic in the studio tomorrow @ 10:15am, immediately following the “Speed Strength” group training session! So far we have about 18-20 attending! LOTS of room if you have a last minute interest. A strong mind & body is not handed to us on a platter…it comes from battling obstacles, overcoming fears, rising above failure, and lots of determination to succeed!
