The “W.O.W.” = ACTION! This week…make less talk & take more ACTION! In fact, don’t even slow down to think about it too much either! Just take action-and then think about it! You might surprise yourself with how much more you accomplish!

Warrior Nutrition Tip: You can’t undo what’s already been done! If you’ve made some poor nutrition decisions recently, the best thing you can do is MOVE ON & make sure your next choice is a GOOD one! Too often one bad meal leads to feelings of guilt & shame, and instead of jumping on the health train right away…we tend to do just the opposite and drown our sorrows with more bad choices! Do you know what meal is the MOST important one of your life??? The next one! So make it a great one!

Today is July 4th…a day to celebrate our country’s FREEDOM! This is the day our country was declared an independent nation. This independence allows us the FREEDOM to live the way we want to live, to have jobs, & to have the many securities that we might take for granted each day. Let the word FREEDOM be a reminder of all of the choices you have this week. Celebrate this, and CHOOSE WISELY!

Warrior Nutrition Tip: EAT FROM THE RAINBOW! Forget counting calories, stop stressing about what nutrients are in what foods, keep it simple and EAT THE RAINBOW! The beautiful thing about Mother Nature is that she supplies fruit and vegetables in an array of colors, which means each color of fruit or veg carries its own set of unique disease-fighting nutrients. When you aim to eat the rainbow your body will be receiving a diverse range of these and will know exactly what it needs to do with them on the inside!

If you have a CHOICE = you have FREEDOM!!!!

FREEDOM…isn’t FREE! Today (& every day we are blessed enough to see) we give thanks to the many men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live this wonderful life! This holiday weekend comes every year at a very high price. Take time today to reflect on all of the brave men and women that have served (& continue to serve) our country to defend our freedom.

The “W.O.W.” (word of the week) = RESILLIENT!
To be able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions. You are more resilient than you think. And every time you are forced to take on a difficult situation, RESILLIENCE is what gets you through & makes you stronger! Whatever challenges you face this week, remember that you have what it takes to succeed!

“Finish last” will always be better than “Did not finish”, which always triumphs “Did not start”!
The “W.O.W.” = FINISH!
It’s not what you start in life that counts…it’s what you FINISH! You will not be remembered for the many great things you started…you will be remembered for the few things you FINISHED! Nothing feels more gratifying than completing what you started, checking them off the list! So DO IT! This week, see everything you do to its full completion! And remember, starting AND finishing a few things will be way more gratifying than starting many things and completing none of them.

The WARRIOR Nutrition Tip: PLAN YOUR MEALS FOR THE WEEK! “Failure to plan is planning to fail”! You know you want to eat well, so plan for it! Carve out some time tonight to pack your food for tomorrow, if you haven’t already done so! Write out your menu for the week, and prep for it! Having a plan will keep you on track and you will be less likely to get derailed along the way!

One of my favorite sayings is “Your ATTITUDE determines your ALTITUDE”! The mind is one of our most valuable, and POWERFUL tools! Your mindset will either set you up for success, or failure. Your limits are set through your belief system. This week, expand your limits. Remember that your ATTITUDE will determine how far you go this week!

The WARRIOR Nutrition Tip: DON’T COUNT CALORIES, JUST EAT REAL FOOD! Counting calories becomes completely unnecessary when you eat food that doesn’t have labels! It’s pretty hard to eat 700 calories in broccoli, but 700 calories in chips is hardly enough to wet your appetite! At Dailey Fitness/TFW Greensboro…we emphasize to do the simple things EXTRAORDINARILY well. Eating REAL food is one of them! This week’s CHALLENGE: Eat NOTHING that has a label on it! If you can do this, I guarantee you feel different by the end of the week!
