Perfect quote as our message & motivation at the gym is ADVERSITY & CHALLENGE this month!  There have been many stories told about athletes & Olympians who have faced great adversity trying to reach their goals. Although none of us are high end athletes or Olympians trying to win the gold…we are ALL facing daily challenges that bring us failure after failure as we strive to become our best. I don’t need a 30 day quick fix that can break my body down too much too soon blasting calories. I need a 30 year long term development program to keep me healthy and at my best 365. Exercise can be SO much more. Performance focus instead of appearance focus and Coaching instead of training. A nice body is a byproduct, not the main focus. Monday is the PERFECT day to dig your heels in and attack the week!

 

BIG THANKS to all that came out for the Dailey Fitness/TFW-Greensboro grand opening event on Sat! For those of you that missed it, the energy was OFF THE HOOK for the 11am workout. 27 bodies were sweatin’ & smilin’….and FIRED UP together! (and there were a lot more cheering us all on from the side lines!) It was LOUD & PROUD with lots of High 5’s! I couldn’t have been more humbled and honored to share the “Into the Roar” story…and unveil my “lion”…my BIG fear. I hope that my story inspires someone else to run towards what they fear the most…to gain courage & confidence in doing so….and CONQUERING FEAR!

Monday is the perfect TIME to TAKE ACTION!

There is no doubt everyone is busy. But it’s now more critical than ever to be busy being busy doing the RIGHT THINGS! Being “BUSY” turns into excuses. Prioritizing so you’re doing the right things will add HUGE value to your life! Identify what is MOST important in your life. And then DO IT.

***ACTION STEP: Identify how you can most improve and elevate your BODY & SOUL this week. Write it down, schedule it, and then do it.

Let’s face it…plans get foiled, and rarely happen exactly as expected. As much as we need a plan…we must remain flexible and open to change! Making the MOST of any situation is better than not taking any action at all!

 

The Dailey NUTRITION Tip: Refined sugars have NO nutritional value. NO vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fats, or fiber. The Relay for Life is this Friday…May 15th. It is an overnight adventure starting at 6pm on Friday night, going until 6am on Sat morning. If you are in Greensboro, come support the Dailey Fitness team during those hours and walk some laps, enjoy camaraderie, and have some FUN-honoring loved ones lost and survivors still fighting the battle against cancer! The event is at Western Guilford High School and there will be entertainment all through the night! Help our team log the “most laps walked” to get the award one more time!
