The 2016 Summer Olympics are in full swing. Watching the games, I can’t help but notice one thing that every Olympian athlete has in common….they PERSEVERE! Every athlete has had to overcome great obstacles. They all have a story. They all have persevered when it would have been easier to quit. They found a way…when there didn’t seem to be one. Win or lose, they give their best! These Olympians are no different than you and I. You have obstacles, you have a story, there are many times it would be easier to quit. Win or lose…will you give your BEST?! Let this word inspire you to push forward towards your most challenging goal this week! You’re your best. Your BEST is enough!
The Warrior Nutrition Tip: HYDRATION MATTERS!!! One of the best things you could do for your health = Introduce a morning water ritual. Before you have any other food or drink, start with water. Try lemon juice and water, or a splash of apple cider vinegar, or a ginger and turmeric warm water tea. If you’re having a lot of coffee or alcohol, they’re diuretics, they pull water out of the body, so you need to have more, if you’re working outside or leading an active lifestyle, you also need to drink more water.
