Do you LOVE Mondays???

Do you LOVE Mondays?!

Hey, they are what you make of them! Mondays come aound every 7 days & are a surprise to no one. How you dive into that first official day of the week is 100% by choice. You can choose to move forward with dread & negativity…or you can get pumped up about the opportunity that awaits you. Personally, I feel that if you have to face the day no matter what…it might as well be on YOUR terms and with a positive mindset.

“You can spend your whole life learning, preparing, and waiting for the right time. Just realize that this time may never come and you’ll spend all of eternity wishing that you took more action in your life.” ~John T. Annillo

The “W.O.W.” = INVESTMENT! Today…INVEST in MORE ACTION! No procrastination, no excuses. Something is ALWAYS better than nothing when it comes to making good choices for our health & fitness. If you bailed out on your workout or nutrition this morning…start right now by taking ACTION and creating change! Don’t wait for tomorrow to “start over” & try to get it right. Own it NOW!

For all you “SITTERS” out there, I got this article from and industry guru (David Weck-inventor of the BOSU Trainer). Of course attending the group training (flex & fitness) at Dailey Fitness will offset the troubles of the desk job on EVERY level…this entertaining article gives you some ideas of things you can do at home (or in your office) each day to promote movement! Se if you recognize any familiar poses!

The “W.O.W.” = INVESTMENT!!!

It’s Sunday FUNday!

Hope you’ve had a rejuvenating weekend & you’re getting your mindset RIGTH for the week ahead.

The “W.O.W.” = INVESTMENT! To achieve anything great in your life, INVESTMENT must be made. This INVESTMENT might be financial, emotional, or physical, & will always require time. This week, check your INVESTMENT in yourself & your health! If you have been “babysitting” your goals, or have hit a plateau & can’t quite break through it…make a bigger INVESTMENT! If you keep doing what you’ve always done…you’re gonna get what you’ve always got! You will get from life exactly what you put into it…so go ALL IN this week! After all, dollar for dollar & minute for minute, investing in your health will ALWAYS give you the most return on your INVESTMENT!

FISH: Wild vs. Farm Raised

“Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.” ~Oprah Winfrey

Your mindset is a POWERFUL tool. Set your personal standards high, and expect the best from yourself. Giving a little more when you’d rather just quit will build mental & physical strength, confidence, & will allow you to reach your full potential! (…AND THEN SOME baby!!!)

The Dailey NUTRITION Tip: CHOOSE WILD FISH/SEAFOOD-NOT FARM RAISED! If you eat fish as a source of lean & healthy protein, beware! The farm raised varieties are just as toxic as the mass farmed land animals. Although there are still plenty of pollutants in our oceans and lakes to cause alarm, I would still stick to wild caught seafood without fail. This is a great article that explains WHY the farm raised swimmers have become so bad for your health: http://draxe.com/eating-tilapia-is-worse-than-eating-bacon/

Happy HUMP Day!!!

Hope you are having an “AND THEN SOME” kind of week!

Yesterday, I was listening in on a webinar coach call and one of my affiliates brought up something that most of us completely forget. The “WHY” behind anything we do. We often get so focused on WHAT we want to accomplish (& all of the obstacles in our way) that we forget the most important thing….the driving force, the “WHY” you are doing anything in the first place. Too often we give up on the end result we seek because we get overwhelmed with the “little stuff” littering our path to success. (excuses, procrastination, limitations, limiting belief system, etc.) The “W.O.W.” = AND THEN SOME! Picture your big objective/goal…your end result. Now, do everything in your power-AND THEN SOME, to reach it. Don’t get hung up on the little stuff (the details) that might be holding you back. All roads to success are cluttered with obstacles. It’s up to YOU to remember WHY your goal is so important to you-and how sweet the victory will be when you have MADE IT HAPPEN!

They Dailey BLOAT BUSTER Drink: This is a great & refreshing beverage that has amazing digestive benefits. Keep it on hand in your fridge, or serve it up to guests as an alternative to plain water:

6 Cups filtered water

1 Tbsp Fresh grated ginger

1 cucumber sliced

1 lemon sliced

1/3 cup mint leaves

Let the mixture infuse overnight in a pitcher…and drink up the next day!

“There are only two options regarding commitment. You’re either in or out. There’s no such thing as a life in-between.” ~Pat Riley

Set a NEW & GRAND goal for this month…make a note of WHY it’s so important…and let nothing stop you from success!

Happy Sunday Weekend Warriors!

It’s time to get fired up for the week ahead! Make your PLAN of attack, and get after it!

The “W.O.W.” = AND THEN SOME!!!  Ok, so it’s 3 words this week! Want to create major change? Attach these words to everything you do this week. In order to get to the next level in fitness, break through plateaus, or to get started on a new goal…you’ve got to put some “AND THEN SOME effort into your actions. “AND THEN SOME” is pushing forward when you’d rather quit. “AND THEN SOME” is actually going extra mile instead of just talking about it. “AND THEN SOME” is DOING what you know & not making excuses!!! I live by the concept “And then some.” In all you do in life (weight-loss, job performance, relationships, parenting, etc.), live by AND THEN SOME. It’s your ticket to world-class performance in everything you do.

TGIF!!!

What an amazing week!

I hope you have gotten some benefit from the emails this week, and maybe even a shift in your mindset! In summary of the week, these words from Martin Rooney are intended to help you become unstoppable!

“You create your thoughts.  Choose to create unstoppable thoughts.  Unstoppable thoughts cause your imagination to turn your knowledge into unstoppable actions that overcome even the biggest failure.  If you are like me, you may believe the wealth of fitness info out there today can be paralyzing.  You may even think fitness or nutrition can be difficult to understand. Mastery, however, is not making simple things more complex.  Mastery is making complex things simple.  If you are looking to master an area of your life, you are going to need to know what to do and not to do.” ~Martin Rooney

If you found anything from this week’s emails motivating…I highly recommend you take advantage of a FREE video series that Rooney has out. It’s only offered through Monday-Aug 4, & he shared this with me in hopes to empower YOU to be more! This is not just for trainers & fitness coaches. Let’s face it, we ALL can use a bit more help when it comes to personal mastery. I think you will get at least one piece of inspiration that will allow you to get to the next level in whatever area of life you need it most.  No gimmicks. This is not a sales pitch. And feel free to share the link with others. When everyone shares, everyone wins.

Thought for Thursday…

BE WILLING TO FAIL!

Lie #3: Success is Built on Success. (from Martin Rooney)
It is almost impossible to have success without first experiencing some level of failure. Think about how a baby learns to walk.  There are a lot of falls but through those falls, getting back up and trying again does she learn to walk.  The same philosophy holds true for anything that you do.  You have to be ready to fall.  You cannot have fear to fail.  Failing is learning. Failure is ok. Giving up is not.

Successful people have failed more than the less successful.  If there was one thing I have learned, successful people know how to “fail forward.”  You must first face and then embrace adversity to eventually reach success. It is not the failure itself, but the number of times you fail and keep going that makes the difference between a failure and champion. Your success, therefore, will be built on failure, shortcomings, defeats and the occasional tragedy.  History is nothing more than difficulty defeated by an eventual triumph of enthusiasm. Let your enthusiasm be stronger than the failures you experience and rewrite your own history.

Rooney Upgrade:  Success is Built on Failure.

The Dailey NUTRITION Tip: EAT ONLY REAL FOODS! You won’t FAIL at nutrition if you are eating foods found in their natural state, with no ingredient lists. Even better, pile lots of fruits and veggies on your plate at every meal/snack. You will find it quite hard to eat 700 calories in broccoli…but 700 calories out of a bag will hardly satisfy you & leave you wanting MORE!

Do What You KNOW!!!

Posted on

Happy HUMP Day!

Hopefully yesterday’s email inspired you to quit something. Today, it’s time to DO WHAT YOU KNOW!

Lie #2: Knowledge is Power  (from Martin Rooney)
You have been convinced that as long as you know something or continue to accumulate knowledge, your life are changed for the better.  Not true.  Your knowledge only tells you what you know.  Your actions tell you what you will get.  And I will be as bold to say that a person with less knowledge that takes more action will be more successful than the most knowledgeable person that does nothing.  Action is more powerful than knowledge.  A knower has less power than a doer.  In fact, I am often amazed how knowledgeable people are irritated when less knowledgeable people become more successful than them.  My suggestion would be instead of complaining about it, DO something to become more instead.

If you know what to do but never do what you know. it is actually worse that you know it.  This leads not to power, but to guilt.  You don’t need another diet or nutrition book, you need motivation like this to take action and change your behavior.
Rooney Upgrade:  Knowledge Plus Action is Power

The Dailey SLEEP Tip: You KNOW you should be getting 8 hours/night…but do you DO WHAT YOU KNOW?! Give it a try and see how much BETTER tomorrow is! Get to bed early tonight, no excuses!
